A recessed button in the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and off of the grip frame without the use of tools. The bolt simply slides out of the receiver and the barrel can be properly cleaned from chamber to muzzle. The MKIV includes other significant improvements such as a one-piece grip frame that is precision CNC-machined from a solid piece of aluminum alloy; an ambidextrous manual safety and a redesigned bolt stop for more ergonomic operation. The magazine drops free on release for faster reloads and a redesigned magazine disconnect safety prevents discharge when the magazine has been removed. Internal improvements include changes to the hammer, sear, bolt and firing pin for smoother, more reliable feeding. Specific features vary by model, but the legendary, one-piece barreled receiver and internal cylindrical bolt construction remain the same. chambered from 22LR rimfire up to large centerfire rifles such as the
30-06 SPG, and were designed to be an innovative yet affordable rifle
platform with models suitable for all North American game. This
particular example, chambered in 22LR, features interchangeable stock
modules that provide comb height options for both scope or iron sight
use. The lightweight black composite stock has sling swivel studs and
a 13.75″ length of pull. The Marksman adjustable trigger offers
a user adjustable pull weight, between 3 and 5 pounds. The
free-floated hammer-forged barrel has a target-crown, ultra-precise
rifling to provide exceptional accuracy, longevity and easy cleaning,
and a satin blued finish. It also features a 10/22-style extended
magazine release, a fiber optic front sight, an adjustable V slot
folding rear sight, and a 3/8″ rimfire scope base machined into
the receiver, which is also drilled and tapped for Weaver #12 bases
(not included).

I like Firearms’s gun shop a lot. I was looking everywhere for a certain model and Firearms’s was the only one who had it. I wish I didn’t have to pay the yearly subscription though. I’d rather they just advertised a higher price rather than the old bait and switch.
