The Mossberg 590A1 is an all-business 12-gauge pump-action shotgun
purpose-designed for a security and defense role. It features a
parkerized finish, a heavy 20-inch cylinder bore barrel with 3-inch
chambers, ghost ring sights, a synthetic stock, and a capacity of
8+1. A testament to the reliability of the 590 (and 500) platforms
is the fact that they are the only pump action shotguns ever to pass
all stringent U. S. Military Mil-Spec 3443 standards. Don’t trust
