Century Arms C308 Black Century Arms’ powerful C308 Synthetic Rifle is a popular take on the G3. The 18†chrome-moly 4140 barrel features 5/8×24 right-hand threading, for the most popular .30 cal muzzle accessories. Built around a reliable roller-lock delayed blowback system. Proprietary Chevron compensator directs gasses upward to help reduce recoil, resulting in greater control of the rifle. Mil-spec 1913 Picatinny rail is welded to the top of the receiver for easy accessory mounting. Fluted chamber for reliable cycling and extraction. RELIABLE BATTLE RIFLE. For the price (got it at a steep discount) it’s a good rifle. Reliable, fairly accurate (2 moa or less), magazines are cheap. The muzzle brake is pretty good, which surprised me. It comes with two 20 round mags and one 5 round mag. The iron sights are decent. I recommend putting a red dot on it. For under $700, its a H&K 91.
